Hello everyone. I'm sorry to inform you there was no baking this weekend. While I love making and baking new things, this weekend was dedicated to relaxation. In fact, today (or what's left of it) is my birthday. Because of that, I did not spend much time (if any) in the kitchen and instead spent it with friends and family.
On Wednesday of this week I will begin my road trip to Texas, where I will tour the campus of the Art Institute of Austin (where I'll be going to culinary school this August). I won't be returning from that trip until next Monday, so there will be an even further delay of any other baking posts.
However, this is not the time to start panicking. I will resume my baking spree once I return and you may all go back to your regularly scheduled pastry indulgence.
